RWP - you left an indelible mark on my career for which I will be forever grateful. The opportunities you allowed me to pursue in the few years I worked for you are amongst the most memorable I have. RIP and thank you.

Steven Boi

RWP I was so very lucky that in the spring of 1988 you came to Australia for your beloved Spring races, I met you as a client and just got you and your fierce quiet transformative intelligence and vibe from day 1. Within 3 dinners and 4 weeks you headhunted me into Drake … 7 years and lots of crazy entrepreneurial stretch from Medox to Sales to Consulting in AU. You mentored me after I left! You always shared our joint love of big family, lots of big sisters, white wine and squash! You have been foundational to so many young lives, including mine. Your extraordinary life’s tapestry you have weaved, as a pioneer, an industry giant and statesman of Canada, and a true gentleman are what made you part of the 1$ers. Go make more stardust and sparkles. RIP.

Liz Simson

RIP Bill. You quietly influenced and opened doors for so many people. You changed the course of my life in early 1995 and I will always be grateful to you. Through you I have met and made life long friends, you included. You will always be in my thoughts and in discussions around the world. Thank you

Deb Morgan

I will miss you Bill. I learned so much from our time together while working as your Executive Assistant in Monaco and the back to Toronto Canada. I'm honoured to have seen you at your celebration of a lifetime in Winnipeg. May you rest in peace.

Monika Plocica

I met Bill so many years ago in Melbourne. He inspired me to pursue my career and become an entrepreneur. As a result I became the first Telstra Business Woman of the year in Victoria Australia Bill and I had many interesting and uplifting conversations. Bill believed in the importance of being a positive influence on those around us.
I miss you already Bill but you can rest knowing you had a positive influence on so many people.

Marcia Griffin

The times spent with Bill remain golden and memorable. He was a visionary entrepreneur who was genuinely interested in everyone he met. Highly curious, he loved music, modern art, and a fine Chardonnay, yet his greatest passion was hospitality. Bill was generous to a fault, and his true life's work was bringing wonderful people together. He will be missed.

Drake was where my passion for helping others in the social services sector truly began. I started my journey in the office, supporting accounts payable and recruitment.

Today, I am completing my Social Service Worker program so I can continue doing meaningful work in the field, and it all started with Drake.

Thank you, Bill, for founding such a great organization, one that shaped my path and earned my lasting respect.

Monique Leger

Whenever Bill Pollock came to Calgary I was impressed with how he demonstrated being an 'active listener'. He enabled me to work alongside dynamic women, many of whom I still keep in touch with. He was a dynamic connector.

June Read

Bill Pollock was an absolute gentleman. He had a great sense of humor. Working alongside him was an honor and a privilege. I am extremely thankful for the 14 years that I spent at Drake. He believed in me and gave me amazing opportunities. I was always so proud of him, I would tell him that, and he would say with a twinkle in his eye and a smile - why thank you Ann - I don't get told that often. Rest easy Mr. Pollock.

Ann Hefer

I started as field staffer and had the privilege of becoming his EA in Monaco and Business Manager of a subsidiary company. His generosity and commitment to work knew no bounds-encouragement to always learn more and do better - and have fun! St Tropez holidays shared with colleagues and friends were wild! Can't thank him enough for a wonderful ten years. I know he wouldn't want to rest easy, so I hope he's floating around the universe somewhere drinking a nice New Zealand drop of Chardy.

Kendra Goodman

Rest in Peace, Bill.

Your leadership, passion for the business, and commitment to helping others succeed touched countless lives and careers. Thank you for the opportunity to grow alongside you, and for the many meetings, dinners, conversations, and glasses of Chardonnay shared over the years. You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever appreciated. Today, we raise a glass in your honour and memory.
